Empowering Science, Leading Connections
My journey is powered by a passion for science and a desire to lead collaborative teams with empathy and innovation.

About Me
As a student of MSc Drug Sciences at the University of Basel, I find myself fascinated by the transformative potential of science and its intersection with human well-being. My journey is fueled by a deep-seated passion for making a positive impact and empowering those around me. I’m eager to collaborate with other people to turn ideas into reality.

Science & Toxicology
I am actively pursuing a comprehensive understanding of toxicology. I’ve complemented my master’s coursework with specialized training to meet the requirements for registration as a toxicologist in the Swiss Society of Toxicology. Furthermore, my foundation is underscored by my successful completion of the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.

Leadership & Team Collaboration
After successfully completing the introductory entrepreneurship course at Basel’s Innovation Office, I’m excited to apply my entrepreneurial mindset to encourage collaboration and drive innovation. Serving as the class representative for the MSc Drug Sciences (2024-26), I act as a bridge between students and faculty, promoting constructive feedback and effective organization. I strongly believe that open, honest, and kind communication is key to unlocking the full potential of my team and colleagues.

Interpersonal & Communication
I approach communication with a deep appreciation for the human element, recognizing that behind every successful endeavor are individuals with unique needs and perspectives. I am passionate about leveraging my understanding of human nature and psychology to foster positive work environments and build strong, lasting relationships. I enjoy public speaking and using my communication skills to inspire others to see and feel my same vision.

IT System Admin
In my free time, I enjoy planning, building, and maintaining various servers, both for personal use and for a small family-owned business. I am passionate about leveraging my IT skills to identify and implement solutions that enhance workflow efficiency and overall operational security. As a hobby, I often find myself troubleshooting IT issues for friends and family, further refining my problem-solving abilities.
Languages
As a native Italian speaker, my fluency in English serves as a bridge to global communication. During my Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in Basel, I gained proficiency in German (B2), and I also possess a basic understanding of French.
My Roadmap

As an MSc Drug Sciences student, I am seeking a thesis opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge to a research project in the pharmaceutical industry. I am eager to contribute to innovative solutions and advance scientific understanding.

As part of the Business Development Team at Medial AG, I am responsible for managing official communications with various pharmaceutical manufacturers, facilitating the introduction of their products to developing markets.

The master in Drug Sciences provides theoretical and practical training in the discovery, development, efficacy and safety of substances with a main focus on drugs/medicines. It is focused on a future career in industrial or academic research, product development or in a regulatory agency.

During my Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Basel, I gained a comprehensive foundation in the science behind the development, manufacturing, and application of pharmaceuticals. This program provided me with strong analytical and learning skills.

During my high school studies, I developed a strong interest in biology and chemistry, culminating in my graduation paper focused on a study of the antioxidant power of ascorbic acid.
